- The version of the macOS app (Menu Bar → LightsKiddo → About).

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign in to the macOS app?
Open LightsKiddo and tap Sign in with Apple or Continue with Email. The sign-in flow runs inside a secure in-app web view (ASWebAuthenticationSession) and returns you to the app automatically.
I’m not getting redirected back to the app after sign-in.
Quit the app fully (LightsKiddo → Quit) and reopen it. If the issue persists, email us with the email you used to sign in and we’ll investigate.
How do I start, change, or cancel my subscription?
From the macOS app, tap your avatar in the top-right and choose Manage Account. There you can view your plan, change it, or cancel at any time. You can also email us and we’ll handle it for you.
How do I delete my account?
Tap your avatar in the top-right of the macOS app, choose Manage Account, then Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, your projects, and all associated data within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing support@lightskiddo.com from the address on your account.
The app keeps redirecting me back to the project list when I open a project.
This usually means your free trial hasn’t started yet or your subscription is inactive. Tap your avatar in the top-right and choose a plan or start your free trial. If you’re already subscribed and this still happens, email us.
An AI command (image / video / script breakdown) failed or got stuck.
Most AI jobs auto-resume on the next app launch. If a job has been stuck for more than a few minutes, open the same view (e.g. Shot List, Schedule) and the app will reconcile its state. If credits were debited for a failed job, email us with the project name and approximate time and we’ll refund them.
My credit balance looks wrong.
Pull down on the credit balance in the top-right to force a refresh. If it still looks wrong after a refresh, email us with your account email and we’ll reconcile it manually.
Is my data private? Where does my script and project content go?
Your project data is stored in our own database. Prompts and content you submit to AI features are sent to the relevant AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, FAL.ai, ElevenLabs) under their data-protection terms. See our Privacy Notice for full details and the list of providers we use.

- Apple silicon or Intel Mac (Apple silicon recommended).
- Active internet connection.
